Title: Applied For The Citi AAdvantage AMEX And Got Approved

Review: I applied online for this card in January. I got a massage saying that please contact us immediately in order to complete the processing of the application. I just called the phone number on the message. The representative told me that my application was approved, but we need to verify somewhat of your personal information to get the CL and the CC number. After verifying the information, she said congratulations you have been approved for a $2,000 CL and a 15.24% APR. You will be receiving your card in the next 7-10 business days. However, I got it in 5 days. I love it.

Review: Got approved with a $6800CL. All 3 scores just crept over 700. Disciplined myself to use debit card for all purchases - only spend what I have. Gonna use this card for everything then PIF to earn rewards. I hope I know what I'm doing!

Title: Love AA Miles!

Review: Applied online, but after submitting my app, I got a msg that basically said: call us, but you're pretty much approved. Next day, I called & only had to verify my address, then 2 mins later: "You're approved for a $8,500 LOC," but it's a Flexible spending acct. The standard APR is 15.24%, all day every day - for this card and all other Citi-AA cards. (My mom has Citi AA Plat MC and Citi AA Amex, which I've verified have the same apr.) Also, only pulled EX, which had a 728 plus score, and no negative accts. I was declined for this card in '09 w/ 682 score and one neg acct. A big plus about this card is that Citi reports your acct to CBs within a couple days of approving app- like, my CRs showed this acct before I even got the card in the mail, which only took 4-5 days. Very happy w/ this card and the 30,000 bonus AA miles!

Review: I applied online via the link on this site. If you apply online via the American Airlines site there is an $85 Annual Fee. Only $50 directly via Citibank. I received a message to call the 800 number because they had to verify additional info. It was because they needed address verification. I moved recently and my credit report isn't matched up yet with what I put on my application. I faxed them a copy of my Drivers License and a Bank Statement ( I bank with Citibank). I applied on a Friday, I called back Monday to see confirmed they received the documents. They said I will receive a letter in 7-10 days. I called again Wednesday and they said congratulations they received the documents and I have been approved for a $3500 limit and I will receive my card in a few days. I would definitely keep calling them, don't wait out the 7-10 days. They pulled Equifax for me. EXP: 684 TU: 701 EQ: 679 I've worked hard paying off baddies the last few months to clean up my report and am happy to get a true card with a nice limit. My other card is the Capital One Secured that I got in March. I think now that my report is clear of baddies the only things I can improve my score with are time and increased overall credit line. I am not in the position to take on loans at this time. Thoughts?

Review: I applied for it online on July 2007. However, it was not instantly approved. I got an email two weeks after that the application was approved with a $2000 credit line and an APR of 13.24%.
