Title: Amazing Bank

Review: I have had this card since 2011 went thru the name conversion of this card back in 2013 I believe. I forgot what the card was called before that. All in all Citi is probably one of the best credit card companies. They get it. Balance transfers available all the time online along with 3 step credit line increase requests. I apply for a CLI with them about every 9 months and they always give me one. Its usually around 1,200-1,400. You can literally do everything you need to do with this card without ever having to pick up the phone. I wish ALL of my cards were like this. With chase, BOA you have to call for a CLI, i don't have that kind of time plus i don't feel with my 790 fico i have to or want to explain why I need/want a CLI. We 720+ ficos just should get a CLI just because well... We have worked hard for it right? We should be rewarded. I work for a lender as well and see at least 100 applications a day. Unfortunetely only %4 percent of the applications I see veryday are over a 600 fico, so when a see a 700+ I am very generous to the applicant for their hard work. Good job Citi. They will always be in my wallet.

Title: Citi Diamond Preferred

Review: Out of the blue, Citi notified me that my four year old Citi Platinum Select Mastercard was being upgraded to the Citi Diamond Preferred Mastercard. Everything would remain the same for terms and conditions (no AF 14.24% purchases and 21.99% cash). The difference is the benefits offered with the card and it does include the Easy Deals benefits. Note, went on line the day after receiving the letter and Citi's web had me changed. Product changed this card to a Citi Dividend American Express Card October 2013 with a 45 day waiting period since cash is king for me. Easy Deals just did not fit my rewards needs.

Title: Instant Aprroval

Review: Was pleased to be approved. I thought it was a Visa, but it's a MC. It's the first cc I have had or applied for in a very long time - maybe 10 years. I was also a little disappointed in the CL of $1,000. Eq-689, TranU- 681, Exp - 679. I'm relieved that I got approved - did not want to lower CR for an inquiry.

Title: Got Denied
Date Reviewed: 2012-07-09 21:21:34 | Recommended?: No

Review: Got a pretty good credit, I have two unsecured and two secured, paying all of them on time for over a year. They still denied me. I wouldn't recommend to applied it will just hurt your score to get denied.

Review: I applied this morning and to my surprise, instantly approved $1,500 credit line 0% apr for 21 months, and 21.99% apr after. I cannot wait till this card comes in the mail.

Title: Waiting For Processing
Date Reviewed: 2011-07-18 15:58:32 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: I applied today after also applying for Discover Motiva and AMEX Skymiles. EQ is 665 and EX is 635. AMEX denied me right away for low EX. That one is the lowest. CITI said more time is needed to process my req. I also applied for Discover Motiva today too and they said the same...more time needed to process. BUT they called me 3 hrs later and approved me. So i have high hopes for CITI.

Title: Suprisingly Low APR
Date Reviewed: 2011-06-21 09:35:34 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: I have received a couple notices in the mail as pre-approved so I figured what the heck. I went online and applied and was instantly approved for $8K. They pulled Experian and mine was 707. My APR was 11.99% after 21 months of 0% on purchases and transfers. Going to transfer my Lowe's, Sams Club and Walmart cards to this one. I have a very good mix of credit, including `07 mortgage, several car leases and credit union loan in `10. Discover(5K CL), Amex (25K CL), and a couple store cards as well. I filed BK in `03 due to divorce and am proof that if you pay pay your bills on time and have patience you can turn it around.

Title: Surprised But Approved.

Review: I was approved a CL of $10,000. Intro 0% interest 12months. After,18.99%( which is extremely high) I have a collection that is $1,890.00 almost 6 yrs old. That I recently tried to dispute one month ago and was updated/verified. I have a 3 yr old mortgage that is 160k. 4 credit cards which all have balances, overall utilization is about 35% none of them have a cL of $500.00 or more. I have been working on my credit for 4 1/2 yrs. 2 paid off personal paid off loans that are around $2000.00 each. I have no inquires. I've been getting offers from all of the "BIG" credit cards for about 9 months and after reading the approval rating I decided to go with this credit card. I was a little bit discourage because of the collection but I said, to myself "I'm not going to let that collection get in the way." It's only a inquiry and I don't plan on buying anything in the future which I pay for everything cash anyway. I think I've been creditworthy!! My heart was racing I covered my eyes like a child b/c it was either going to be "denied" or a "low limit" of $1,000.00 Boy, was I surprised!!! I almost forgot credit score was checked Feb 4th Transunion 747, Equifax 696, & Experian 699. Not sure which bureau was check. But I will check after I get the card which takes 14 days to receive. Please feel free to ask question if I haven't already answer them all.

Title: One Of The Best Out There.

Review: I just applied for this card on 10/22 and am still waiting to receive it but here is the review so far. It was an instant online approval with a FICO of 757. I received a $6,300 CL. APR is 11.99% V Received a balance transfer offer of 0% for 21 months! I will be taking advantage of this balance transfer offer for sure. Out of all of my cards and my fiancee's cards I only have one with a balance of $3,162 at a 13.99% APR. So, once I move this over to this new card I'll have 21 months to pay it off with no interest and over $1,358 in interest charges...

Title: Instant Approval! YAH Baby

Review: Citi is awesome. Instant approval for CL 3k. Roughly 696 FICO. Second card from city. Rebuilding as of last September 2007 from a collections on a cellphone (had bofa secured). Now I just closed out two of my department store cards! Woohoo. Total CL is now over 15k and I haven't even graduated from college. =) thanks financeglobe

Title: Citi Shows Love
Date Reviewed: 2008-09-03 21:07:47 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: I've had my Citi Diamond Preferred Card since April. Initial CL was $2,600. Today, they increased me to $4,000. When I logged in to my account there was the blurb I've been looking for: "Request credit increase." How could I resist? Love this card; really love Citi.

Title: Approved!
Date Reviewed: 2008-04-27 12:36:01 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: Pulled the trigger and was approved for a $5,200 limit. Average score of 689. Terms aren't bad, even though I plan to employ the PIF strategy every month: Purchase APR: 0.00% for 12 months from the account open date. Thereafter, Prime rate + 4.99%, currently 10.24%. Balance Transfer APR: 0.00% for 12 months from the date of the first balance transfer. Thereafter, Prime rate + 4.99%, currently 10.24%. Now, if I can just keep from applying for any more plastic this year, I'll be doing good! :)

Review: Great Card applied in Feb 2007 got instant approval with a 683 FICO! Initial credit line 2,000. This is not a reward card but the interest rate is fairly low.
