Title: State Farm Platinum Rewards Visa

Review: I had just applied for this card and at first was denied due to my FICO falling over a 100 points due to reporting of a maxed credit card. When I spoke to the customer service department they looked at the depth of my credit and that I had not one late payment on my credit report they overturned the decision and I will have my balance transferred and pay 2.9% until July of 2008. I am currently at a fixed rate of 15%. That's going to be a huge savings for me in interest and I will be able to pay it down much quicker. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my application and their decision to help me. In addition I also have to say there car insurance is by far the best I have ever dealt with. So I give a 10 to this credit card company.

Title: Best Card

Review: The State Farms Visa card is by far the best card I have ever had in my credit history. The customer service agents are just knowledgeable, they know what they are talking about, the website is great!! Quick NOTE: When I applied for this card a month ago, they gave me a limit of $4000 with 14.27%apr fixed, no annual fee. At the time my FICOs were 734 TU/ 727 EXSP/ 700?? With Equifax I think. I have already charged my insurance to this card and paid it off last week. MyCreditKeeper just updated for this month (30th) of every month. Now I realize I have ran several applications to get rid of some of my really high interest rate cards, so I exspected a 50-60 point drop in my scores. But I am posting this message out of sheer importance and demonstrating how different the new models can calculate your scores. Per the old FICO system as listed by MyCreditKeeper they are much higher as opposed to ChaseID/Risk SCores: See Below Per MyCreditKeeper As of 04/30/08 (14 Inquiries 2008) TU: 727 Equifax: 705 Exsperian: 710 Per ChaseID As of 04/26/08 TU:697 Equifax: 643 Exsperian: 685 Rockin35!

Title: Approved!

Review: Received this card a year and a half ago when I financed my car through state farm bank. Approved for $5500 originally and just recently had a automatic CLI to $6500. 10.49% APR w/ scores around the low 700's. The main reason I went with this card was they had 0% balance transfer for 9 months and NO transaction fee. I had put my down payment for my car on another credit card just to get the points, I was going to payoff right away but transferred to this card and paid off in a couple months. So far so good! I can understand everyone in customer service that I speak with so that is always a plus!

Review: I love my card, excellent CS, my agent suggested I apply when it first came out, have had AUTO cli every year now at 20k. Use it extensively as it doesn't give you problems I recommend this card to anyone looking for a stable card. I have insurance, IRA, and CC... Love statefarm

Title: Not Flexible
Date Reviewed: 2015-04-10 16:22:06 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: Rates are very comparable. Only issue I have had is once when requesting a change of due date, the request would not be considered because I did not have the 3 digit security codes on the back of the card. I answered all security questions at the beginning of the call, they would talk to be about my payments and outstanding balance but would not do any maintenance on the account without the security code. Something as simple as change a due date would not be discussed because of the lack of having the code with me at the time of the conversation. I was not behind on payments, I am a good customer, no issues on my behalf only wanted a change of due date to more appropriately correspond to when I get paid. No flexibility. I guess that is good?
