Title: I Am In The Amex Family

Review: Hi FG, Well I don't know where to start. Yesterday when I went to BOA and I canceled the card, when I got home I was so mad at BOA. I applied for the Amex SPG and got a Pending decision. I checked the status of the card online and it was approved within a minute. Called CS to see what the limit was it was approved for $2500, AF $65. APR and FICO are not known yet, will update when I get the card. One of the perks I like is the 5k bonus when you transfer 20K points into 30 different programs. I can get Gold Elite Status within SPG when I spend $30K a year. Its a good card to have if you like to travel. I cant wait to use it. Spending $5k is easy to get the points for me , that's 2-3 trips to Costco for our business. Thank to FG for helping me and Amex for trusting me.

Title: Approved- Less Than Perfect Credit

Review: I applied for the Starwoods Card in November and was approved with a 687 FICO. I have a long credit history and just recently recovered from an ID theft fiasco that had driven my FICOs down in the low 500s. The card details suggest an applicant should have high 700 FICO, but AM EX approved me for this and another AM EX card with an Equifax 687. AM EX extended me a 3000 credit line with an automatic review for an increase in 6 months. I use this card, and a subsequent AM EX Blue Sky, almost exclusively since they both earn travel and airline rewards. All my other cards are now locked in a safe and will be pulled periodically for account activity purposes.

Title: Sooooo Tempted.....

Review: I received an 'invitation' to apply for this card in the mail today. I'm enrolled in the Starwood Preferred Guest Program (Sheraton brand), and I don't know if they pre-screened me for this or not. They call it an 'invitation' and gave me an 'RSVP number.' My scores have only just started hitting the 640 range, so I don't think I'll be applying for this one... But it's SOOOOOO tempting. The AF is only $45, waived for the first year, and you get enough points for something like 3 free nights just for using the card once. I'm guessing a 640 FICo is too low to start applying for this bad boy... But can anyone that has it review it? Or give me an idea of what FICO you need for it? I'll just be over here sitting on my hands keeping myself from applying!
