Title: BofA WorldPoints Platinum Plus Visa
Date Reviewed: 2009-09-18 11:45:57 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: WOW! Started with a Bank of America Secured Platinum Plus Visa Card last November 2008. Graduated to an Unsecured BofA Platinum Plus Visa on 08-23-09. Requested a product change/upgrade to a BofA WorldPoints Platinum Plus Visa Affinity Card on 08-24-09. On 09-12-09 I was approved for a new BofA WorldPoints Platinum Plus Visa Affinity Card. BofA did NOT pull a credit check for the product change/upgrade (note they did do a hard credit bureau pull for the secured to unsecured card change on 08-23-09). My credit bureau scores were EQ 704 TU 703 and estimate EX 715 Vantage 761.

Title: Upgrade

Review: Was upgraded from Platinum Plus Visa with a $2500 credit line to this card with Worldpoints... No credit line increase but I never carry a balance... Would like to receive credit line increase just to boost scores from the low 700's to maybe mid 700's but won't ask for increase will just wait 6 months to a year to see if they do it automatically. Bank of America customer service is also first rate.

Title: Upgraded From BOA Plat Plus Visa
Date Reviewed: 2008-07-28 20:48:40 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: I've had the BOA Platinum Plus Visa since 12/07, started with a $2500 CL. I called BOA for another issue and was told that I was eligible for an upgrade to the WorldPoints Plat Plus Visa. They also increased my CL to $3500. I think BOA considers your relationship with them when making these approvals. I've been with BOA for a lot of years; checking, money market etc. They've always treated me very well and I would never bank with anyone else. BTW, my scores are TU 664, EX 672, EQ 666.

Title: Upgrade Card.

Review: This is the upgrade card that I received from BofA. I previously had their Platinum Plus CC, and prior to that I had their secured Platinum Plus CC for 9 months. Secured CC: CL $500, %21.5 Unsecured CC: CL $1000, %19.5 Current upgraded CC: CL $1000, %17.99

Title: Advantages And Disadvantages
Date Reviewed: 2008-05-25 04:20:31 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: This card was the second credit card I got since I moved to the states last year. Let me start the advantages first, 1- more acceptable than my AMEX card in the states and overseas. 2- they automatically increase your limit without running your credit. 3- you manage your account online. disadvantages: 1- it's not hard to get as some one was saying here. Anyone can get it easily with credit limit varies due credit score. 2- very terrible customer service, helpless. 3- very poor rewards values. Plus when you redeem this rewards with gift cards, they send it to your address without putting your name on it, so if anyone get the letter, he can use it easily. 4- yes they increase your limit every while, but once you loose your card or you have any suspicious activity on your card, they will not help you, u r loosing your money 100%

Review: Just got approved for boa world points card w/ a cl of 3k... Scores range from 698-714... Only problem is that rewards seem a little cheap, other than that no complaints.

Title: Rate Issue
Date Reviewed: 2007-08-26 19:06:45 | Recommended?: No

Review: Terms and conditions state that Platinum Plus Credit Card will be with 9.9% APR and Preferred account with 15.99%. I was approved for Platinum Plus with 9.9%, and received one, but only instead 9.9% I received 15.99%. And now nobody can give me an answer - why in their Terms Platinum Plus has 9.9%. I actually had one answer that they don't know anything about this lower as 9.9% APR. Here I am - I have to cancel the Credit Card, because I think if they can't keep their word and change conditions anytime when they want - it's a very bad business. Only one what I can say - their Customer Service is very friendly, polite and nice to talk to.
