Review: A few years ago my Aria/Providian Visa was purchased by Chase and almost immediately closed with a $3000 balance and a 33% APR. I had never been late but had high credit utilization on all my cards. Since then I have been paying on this card and all my other cards and am now at 18% utilization. I just finished paying off my closed account and decided I would give Chase another chance since they had the nice cash back option. They approved me for $7000. I don't know what the APR is because I don't really care as I pay all of my balances in full each month. 3 months ago I had a 650 score and now I have a 768. I've probably applied for too many cards in the past 6 months, but I'm looking for good rewards since I spend a lot of money. :) Discover $10,000; Delta AmEx $5,000; Citi Forward $7,000; Chase $7,000; Cap1 Venture $4,800; Orchard $3,500 EQ768 TU 777 EX768

Review: Got letter stating that reason for denial was that limit on store cards was too high which I agree for my Macy's has a CL of $2.5K and a balance of $2k so other than that I would of been approved my EX score is 711.

Review: I've been wanting to apply for this card for awhile to supplement the cash back I get from my Discover More card. I applied online and was instantly approved with a credit limit of $500 and 15 months @ 0% for balance xfers and purchases. When I spend $500 in the first 3 months I receive a $100 bonus (that was a BIG reason that I applied). 5% cash back bonus on revolving categories, I believe the current category is hotels and airlines. I'm not sure of the interest rate after the 15 months, but I know it was high 22%? But it won't matter as I plan on using it for everyday purchases and paying in full :) They pulled TU, which was only 644 at the time. EQ is 720, last I looked EX is about 680. I received the card in about a weeks time.

Review: So Far So Good I've had the card for about 2 months now. Customer service is as advertised. Someone in america and pick up within a few rings.. Its pretty cool, I forgot to do a vacation alert and it was taken care of in under 30 seconds.. I get some looks on the card due to the weight and touch and feel. And to be honest I kind of enjoy it. The 7% dividend isn't something to laugh at.. I mean 7% reward bonus on top of what I already spend? Score..! I have pretty much stopped using my pentagon federal american express as this has a 7% dividend on all points (even the ones you spend) and is accepted everywhere. I used it for a ice tea instead of cash and my fiance just rolled her eyes at me. Too bad my savings account isn't as generous. Overall loving the card so far and pretty close to having my 50k bonus point sign up!

Review: Hi FG, After I applied for the Amex SPG card, I gave this card a shot. I wanted a MasterCard and couldn't find a link for it. I went to mastercard.com and searched for it there and applied from there. Since my wife had an account with them we logged in from the app and it pre filled everything for us. I hit submit and got a pending decision. I called there reconsideration line and was told they will process the application. After some name and address verification they put me on hold with a few minutes we got approved $5000. 40k after $3000 spent in 3 months. APR and Fico are not known. Now here is the kicker after I was done after an hour. I called Chase to increase the credit line of the Freedom card for $2500 and was told why I wanted the increase. I told them I wanted to take a cruise and the amount was going to be between 550-700, also I wanted to use Chase because they were good to me. I was told the CLI was pending approval and it would be a few days before an answer. Logged in today after 9:00 am EST and there it was there $2500 CL. SCORE I hit two credit cards with one inquiry. Today I checked Credit Karma and there was 2 Inquires one from AMEX and one from Chase. So now She got these cards within 1 year and 2 months of credit history, 4-7 credit Inquires depending the CRA: Chase Sapphire MasterCard: $5000 Amex SPG : 2500 Chase Freedom: 2500 Discover More: 2500 Macys: 1000 Capital one: 750 BOA: 500 (Closed) Not too shabby.... Thanks FG and Thank you Chase. Next up is only CITI Forward for the rest of the year and I am done and will be gardening for a while.

Review: Excited! Applied on line and got a 10 to 14 day message. Got on the telephone to Chase who did hard inquiries of Experian and Equifax. After twenty minutes they approved the account with a 12.99% purchase apr and cash at 19.24% apr with score 779. They gave me the spend $500 in three months and I would get the equivalent of $100 in my Ultimate Rewards account. Has the Chase selected 5% cash back in select categories quarterly with 1% on everything else. Special benefits if you are a Chase Bank Checking Customer you can add 10% to the rewards. BT's for fifteen months at 0% and purchase apr is 0% for fifteen months. In November 2014 this card is being phased out for a Chase Freedom Visa. Not impressed with the very small 5% categories and if it were not for the great CL I would close it as useless. Chase converted this card to a Chase Freedom Visa Signature (NPSL) July 2014.

Review: I had been using Southwest mostly for work for the past couple of years. I just signed up for their rapid rewards last year and have accumulated about 4000 points. At the airport a person stopped me and asked if I was interested in this card, I was in a hurry and politely declined. I went to check my rewards online and saw there was a pretty good offer going on. Through the Rapid Rewards website you can earn 25,000 bonus points after spending only $1,000 in 3 months. That's over $400 in one way tickets. There is a $99 annual fee but you earn 6000 points as an annual bonus which is what you need for a one way ticket, usually they run around $125 or more, to where I fly, so that in itself pays for more than the AF. My credit line is $5000. This is my second Visa Signature. There is no foreign transaction fee and you earn double points when using this card to purchase Southwest airline tickets. This is a big step up for me, as I started rebuilding in 2010, I could not get a card from Chase no matter how many times I tried. I last applied for their Amazon card in December, 2012 and was declined. Special note, Chase is picky about about the time between past applications, I think it is 3 months, but I have to double check that. Chase checks Experian in Texas, and my score was 696. I should receive the card in 7-10 days. My utilization is at 34% and I have about 10 inquires. I have a checking account with them that I share with my wife that I don't use. I logged on today and the card is already on the account. Super excited, I can't wait to get my new card. Thanks FG for all the reviews, and support. I was able to get here because of you.

Review: This card has been on my watch list for some time. Been gardening for 8 months, and last week decided to app for this card. Already have Freedom Signature/Sapphire Preferred. We stay at Marriotts often when traveling/vacations. This card offers 50k points when spend 1k in 3 months which equates to 4 free nights for cat 1-4 hotels. Also, upon approval, certificate for 1 free night, and every year at card anniversary 1 free night. Also no FT fees Instant approval for $20k CL, and 15.24%. Very happy to get this one!

Review: Just got my final credit pull for my construction loan, since Im clear to close, I went ahead and applied for this card for the 0% for 15 months promo! My credit line is $11,500.00 and a standard APR of 17.99% after! This will come in handy for furniture and decor! Loving Chase right now, as I also have a Freedom signature card as well! Pulled TU and Experian, 752 TU and 730 Exp!

Review: I am absolutely speechless! Decided to go for this card when I saw the 70,000 points after spending $1,000.00 in the first 3 months, not to mention the fact, one free night stay off the bat just for signing up! My initial credit line is $24,000.00 with an APR of 15.24%! All my years of rebuilding are finally paying off, and BIG, I have to say! TU score at the time of approval was 766! This card will be seeing a lot of use!

Review: I applied for the Chase Slate card with the intent of taking advantage of the 15 months 0% APR so I could make a couple of large purchases interest-free. Even though I use a rewards card for most of my everyday expenses, my Chase Slate has a much lower APR so it is the one I would use if I ever need to pay off the balance over several months. Online banking is easy and the Android app works great. This is the redesigned Chase Slate with EMV chip for better security. I've had the Chase Slate with Blueprint card for a couple of years and saw that the new Slate gives customers a free credit score. After inquiring with customer service, they upgraded my account to receive the free credit score (keeping the same account number, APR, and all other terms and conditions) but removed the Blueprint feature - which is fine because I never used it. A new card with EMV chip was also sent out to me. Highly recommended.

Review: I applied about 2 years ago and was approved for $7,000. Within 6 months, my credit line was raised to $20,000. I have a credit score of around 735 from Experian. I use this card for my fixed expenses with my business because of the rewards. Highly recommend!

Review: I have had the Chase Freedom card for about eight months now and I am very happy with it. My husband and I have been banking with Chase for almost eight years and their customer service is above average. Now, having the Freedom card is one more plus to our relationship with them. The Freedom card always has one percent cash back rewards and they also sometimes increase the percentage we get back on certain things. For example, this month, we're getting ten percent back on all Amazon purchases. That was great news to me since I do most of my Christmas shopping on Amazon! I was also able to link my Chase rewards to my Amazon account so I can use my cash back to pay for purchases with just a couple of clicks. When you're getting ten percent back, the rewards really add up fast! All in all, I have found this to be a very convenient card and I am happy with the rewards and customer service.

Title: Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature Card
Date Reviewed: 2016-01-16 18:18:45 | Recommended?: No

Review: This card was obtained by a product change (I could not make the spend for the bonus points anyway). Previously, it was a Chase Flexible Rewards Visa (1:1) and then a Chase Freedom (with 5% categories) . Found that trying to utilize categories is not realistic to my spend pattern so I decided to obtain a Travel Rewards Card. As to my opinion on the card, to soon to tell. The $95 AF is a lot if you don't travel a lot as the 2% rewards are geared for travelers with all other rewards 1:1. Purchase Apr 13.24% and the Cash Apr is 19.49%. As to its metal ... Yes! As a follow up on this card, I found after ten months I did not travel and was not able to avail myself of the card's focus in points and benefits so I product changed it ot a Chase Freedom Unlimited Visa with the 1.5 points rather than the card with the categories which don't fit my spending pattern (need to add that I do have a US Bank FlexPerk Travel Rewards Visa Signature Card that is more flexible and it allow me more room to earn points and works for the occasional traveler).

Title: Chase Freedom Unlimited

Review: Added this card to my herd. Looked at the fact I did not need to figure out the categories. They work for some people but my spend is such that most of the time it is not for me. Like the simplicity of the card. Interest rate at 13.94% Apr purchases and 19.24% Apr cash.

Review: I have been seeing reviews and advertisments for this new card couldnt resist with the 1.5 cash back on all purchases. Went to chase.com took about 30 seconds for a decision. Approved for $9,000. I have other cards with Chase so i know they pull Experian which my experian is 788. I also have the regular freedom, slate and Southwest Arlines raprid rewards card with them as well. Its about time they gave me a decent credit line. My other cards with them are not as high. I don't recommend their customer service really since they outsource to other countries so every time i need something I just e mail them through the secure message center. I do like the the account showed up immediately after i applied since i already have accounts with them.

Review: I applied for this card on May 26th and was instantly denied, I called their customer service number to see what the reason for denial was and was informed it was due to "too many new accounts within 24 months". Chase pulled my Equinox credit report and my score at the time of application was 646. A little background about me is I had the Chase Freedom card almost 4 years ago that was a paid charged off, but surprisingly Chase didn't say anything about that. I have successfully rebuilt my credit after falling behind and having 15 credit cards charged off in 2011, my current cards include American Express Green, American Express Blue Cash Preferred, Citi Double Cash, Barclays Cash Forward MasterCard, and Wells Fargo Platinum Visa.

Title: Great Customer Service

Review: I have a Chase Slate card and the customer service department has been amazing. I never got one bill so I did not make the payment. I called and explained the issue and they believed me and took the late fee off the balance. My interest rate never went up either.

Title: Finally, Amazon Prime Rewards Visa
Date Reviewed: 2017-03-07 22:44:29 | Recommended?: Yes

Review: I don't believe this falls into the Chase 5/24 rule, however, I waited to apply for this until I was below 5 accounts opened. I was originally denied even though I've had a Chase Freedom card with them for 2 1/2 years. I called the Recon line and was told they needed some address verification, which didn't make sense to me. I faxed it over and after a couple of calls to verify receipt, I was approved!!! Saddened with the high APR 19.74%, lower than my Freedom though. $6500 limit is also better than the Freedom. I'm in Texas, and they pulled my Experian -Card Acquisition Risk Score 705.

Review: My 710 put me at roughly 17%. My credit history goes back a long time, so I wish these companies would take that into consideration when determining your APR. Other than that, no complaints about the card..

Title: Waste Of Time

Review: I don't know what kind of games this bank plays but I was issued a $125 credit limit. I think the lowest credit limit I had was a million or so in my teens. Then they cancelled it two months later after I experienced extreme fraud on every level?

Title: I Love Chase

Review: I've had a chase card every since they bought my Washington mutual card back in 2007 or 2008. Recently I was receiving offers to open a bank account. So I went to a branch opened a checking since it had a really good cash promotion($300). I was also advised I was pre approved for the freedom card so I chose the unlimited 1.5% instead of the categories. Approved for a $4000 limit. I received about $175 in bonus cash already after recently meeting the spend requirements. I allocated some of my Chase slate limit to the freedom since I won't be using the other at all. Very happy with chase and the app is great also.

Title: Trying Chase Again

Review: Applied for this card after severing all of my relationships with chase 2 years ago. We will see how it goes this time. I don't know much about this card but I have a friends that have it that refuse fo use any other card. So I guess we Will see. CL I was approved for is $32,300. Which is comparable to my other lines on my other major credit cards. I rated 4 on online account management because chase does not have systemic CLI requests online like other lenders do. They are behind on that.

Review: Many years ago had to declare BK-13 which included chase. After building my credit up I was constantly declined for their cards until recently. Was just approved for their SW card, limit is $7000. I love the card.
